1. Information We Collect
We collect different types of data depending on whether you are a Job Seeker or an Employer.
A. From Job Seekers
- Identity Data: Name, date of birth (optional/if required for age verification).
- Contact Data: Email address, mobile phone number, residential address.
- Profile & CV Data: Employment history, education, skills, qualifications, references, and the actual CV document you upload.
- Usage Data: Details of jobs you have viewed, saved, or applied for.
B. From Employers
- Company Data: Business name, registration number, registered address.
- Representative Data: Name and contact details of the person managing the account.
- Financial Data: Bank account or payment card details (processed securely by our third-party payment provider; we do not store full card details).
C. From All Users (Technical Data)
- Internet Protocol (IP) address.
- Login data (username/password – encrypted).
- Device type, operating system, and version.
- Location data (if you grant permission to the App to find jobs “near you”).

3. Disclosure of Your Data
We may share your personal data with the following parties:
- Employers (for Job Seekers): When you apply for a job, your profile and CV are shared with the specific Employer posting the role. Note: Once an Employer downloads or views your CV, they become a separate Data Controller of that specific copy of your data and are responsible for handling it legally.
- Service Providers: Third parties who provide IT and system administration services (e.g., cloud hosting providers like AWS/Azure/Google Cloud, payment processors like Stripe/PayPal).
- Professional Advisers: Lawyers, bankers, auditors, and insurers based in the UK.
- Regulators: HM Revenue & Customs and other authorities acting as processors or joint controllers based in the UK.
We do not sell your data to third-party marketing companies.
4. Data Security
We have put in place appropriate security measures to prevent your personal data from being accidentally lost, used, or accessed in an unauthorised way.
- Your data is encrypted in transit (SSL/TLS).
- Access to your personal data is limited to employees, agents, and contractors who have a business need to know.
5. Data Retention
We will only retain your personal data for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes we collected it for.
- Job Seekers: If your account is inactive for [e.g., 2 years], we may delete your data. You can delete your account at any time via the App settings.
- Employers: We retain transaction data for 6 years for tax and accounting purposes (HMRC requirement).
6. Your Legal Rights
Under the UK GDPR, you have rights regarding your personal data, including:
- Right of Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Right to Correction: Request correction of incomplete or inaccurate data.
- Right to Erasure (“Right to be Forgotten”): Ask us to delete your data where there is no good reason for us continuing to process it.
- Right to Object: Object to processing where we rely on a legitimate interest.
- Right to Restrict Processing: Ask us to suspend the processing of your data.
- Right to Data Portability: Request the transfer of your data to you or a third party.

7. International Transfers
Ideally, we store your data within the UK or the European Economic Area (EEA).
