Welcome to Just Recruit Inverclyde. These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Just Recruit Inverclyde mobile application and associated services (the “App”).
These Terms form a legally binding agreement between you and Just Recruit Inverclyde Limited (Company Number: SC854355), a company registered in Scotland with its registered office at [11 Jamaica Street, Greenock, Scotland, PA15 1XX] (“we”, “us”, “our”).
By accessing, registering with, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, strictly do not use the App.
1.1 We provide a platform for you to create a profile, build/upload a CV, browse local job vacancies, and apply for roles within Inverclyde and surrounding areas. 1.2 The App is currently free of charge for Job Seekers. 1.3 Agency Status: We act as a venue to connect you with Employers. We do not guarantee that you will be hired, nor do we guarantee the suitability of any role posted.
2.1 You agree to provide true, accurate, current, and complete information in your profile and CV. 2.2 You must not upload any Content that is offensive, defamatory, illegal, or infringes on the rights of others. 2.3 You are responsible for keeping your login details and password confidential. 2.4 You agree that the CV and personal data you submit will be viewable by registered Employers on the platform (subject to your privacy settings).
3.1 When you apply for a job, your application data is sent directly to the Employer. We do not control the Employer’s hiring process. 3.2 You must not use the App to solicit business from Employers or for any purpose other than seeking employment.
1.1 Access to Employer features is subject to a verification process. We reserve the right to decline registration if you do not meet our criteria (e.g., verifying you are a legitimate local business). 1.2 You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
2.1 All job advertisements must: * Be for genuine, current vacancies. * Comply with all applicable laws, including the Equality Act 2010 (preventing discrimination based on age, disability, race, etc.) and the National Minimum Wage Acts. * Be accurate and not misleading. 2.2 We reserve the right to remove any job posting that we believe breaches these Terms or brings the App into disrepute, without refund (if applicable).
3.1 [Option 1 – If Free:] currently, posting jobs is free of charge. We reserve the right to introduce fees in the future with prior notice. 3.2 [Option 2 – If Paid:] You agree to pay the fees associated with the job posting packages selected. All fees are exclusive of VAT. Payment is due [Immediately / within 30 days of invoice]. 3.3 Fees are non-refundable once a vacancy has gone live on the App.
4.1 In relation to Job Seeker data (CVs, profiles) you access, you act as a separate Data Controller. 4.2 You agree to process Job Seeker data strictly in accordance with the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018. 4.3 You must not: * Share a Job Seeker’s data with third parties without their express consent. * Use the data for marketing purposes. * Keep the data longer than necessary for the specific recruitment purpose.
5.1 You agree to indemnify and hold Just Recruit Inverclyde Limited harmless against all claims, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from: * Your breach of these Terms. * Any claim by a Job Seeker regarding your hiring process or employment practices. * The content of your job advertisements (e.g., claims of discrimination or misrepresentation).
We process your personal data in accordance with our [Privacy Policy] (link to your policy). By using the App, you consent to such processing.
2.1 You retain ownership of the Content you upload (e.g., your CV or Logo). However, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and reproduce this Content for the purpose of operating the App. 2.2 All intellectual property rights in the App itself (code, design, “Just Recruit Inverclyde” branding) belong to us.
3.1 The App is provided “as is”. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from viruses. 3.2 To the fullest extent permitted by law, Just Recruit Inverclyde Limited excludes liability for: * Loss of profit, business, or opportunity. * Any employment decisions made by an Employer or Job Seeker. * The accuracy of User-generated content. 3.3 Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence or for fraud.
We may suspend or terminate your account immediately if you breach these Terms. You may delete your account at any time via the App settings.
These Terms are governed by Scots Law. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Scottish Courts.
